I made these colourful party bags for Saoirse's 6th Birthday party. The bags are made in felt so require no hems or turning over of seams. The pattern is made from two simple shapes cut out using contrasting coloured felt.
TO MAKE:
1. Cut out the two shapes in different coloured felt.
2. place front onto back and machine along the line in zig zag stitch using white or a contrasting coloured thread.
3. I included a loop of ribbon hand sewn onto the bag. I cut out a felt flower with a button for the centre to conceal the join.
I used our Belle and Boo badges to seal the bags, any badge will do. Although I must say I think they look pretty good without anything.
Mine are the perfect size for a pack of the Rosie Flo or Johnny Joe Postcards a set of mini felt tip pens, some sweeties and balloons. Mrs Fox will be putting the bags onto the site retailing at £4. If you are interested in them filled as above please get in touch with the number you would like and we will quote you a price. info@mrsfoxs.com

Dear Mrs Fox, thank you so much for the gorgeous party bags which you made for Saoirse's 6th Birthday party. Saoirse and her friends absolutely adored them, as did I. The Rosie Flo postcards and Belle & Boo badges made perfect bag fillers and were a huge hit. A wonderful party bag appreciated by all the children, as well as their parents!
